The Atlanta World War II History Round Table is a non-profit 501(c)(7) organization located in Atlanta, Georgia and was founded in 1987. We are the meeting place in the State of Georgia for discussion about World War II history and the leading resource for educators, the media, and the entertainment industry seeking subject matter experts on WWII history in the Atlanta area.
Attendees at monthly round table meetings, which are open to our members and to the public, socialize over lunch and listen to guest speakers from inside and outside the organization give presentations on World War II history.
Our Round Table examines World War II from a global perspective. All people are welcomed without regard to nationality, including historians, World War II enthusiasts, veterans from all periods, and non-veterans.
Our Purpose
To be a recreational platform for discussion, deliberation, and education on the causes, events, and impacts of World War II. To learn from war, and to never glorify war.
