About

The Atlanta World War II Round Table is a non-profit 501(c)(7) organization located in Atlanta, Georgia and was founded in 1987 to preserve the stories of World War II and promote a sense of appreciation for the service and sacrifices of America’s Greatest Generation.

We are the leading resource in the State of Georgia for students, educators, the media, and the entertainment industry seeking subject matter experts and information about World War II veterans living in the Atlanta Metro area.

Attendees at monthly round table meetings enjoy fellowship over lunch and listen to guest speakers from inside and outside the organization talk on subjects surrounding World War II and occasionally other conflicts. The round table seeks never to glorify war, but to learn from war so that future wars may be avoided and fought only when necessary with a path to victory.

Monthly meetings are open to the public. Veterans from all periods and non-veterans are welcomed and encouraged to attend.

Our Purpose

To meet no less than ten times a year and be a recreational platform for discussion, deliberation, and education on the causes, events, and impacts of World War II.

To provide opportunities to its members and guests to share their perspectives, experiences, and research, and to give talks and presentations on World War II.
