Beginning in 2023, we set up a Youtube channel at this link to house video recordings of our guest speakers.
The Atlanta World War II Round Table is a military history group and not a veterans group. Everyone 17 years of age an older is welcomed to attend our monthly luncheon meetings, members and non-members, and veterans and non-veterans alike. We just ask that you please RSVP.
Our age limit policy restricts attendance at our monthly luncheon meetings to adults 17 years of age and older. We may make exceptions to that policy on a case-by-case basis with advanced approval. We may make attendance exceptions for high school age students with an interest in World War II history or who are actively studying World War II history at school provided that the students attend with an adult chaperon such as a parent or teacher. Please contact us to learn more.
An invitation is not necessary. Our meetings are open to members and to the general public. We do ask that you RSVP.
Contact Bill LeCount at 404-886-7383. Please be sure to RSVP by the deadline date posted on the event announcement.
$20 per person. World War II veterans and guest speakers free. We accept cash or credit card at the door.
Please see our Membership page.
Yes. We ask that you please RSVP so that we can inform the cafeteria of headcount so that enough food will be prepared for the luncheon.
You are free to take photos and videos from your seating position with your Smartphones or small camera. Any formal or informal interviews, including video interviews, must be approved by the Commander in advance of the meeting.
Upcoming meetings will be posted on our website's HOME page. An email notification and Robocall will go out to our members and to individuals who have signed up for our email list.
Although our organization's primary focus is World War II, we occasionally have guest speakers who talk about other wars such as the Korean War, the Vietnam War and more recent wars and conflicts.
Our monthly luncheon meetings typically run two to three hours depending on the guest speaker. It is perfectly acceptable to leave early if you cannot stay for the entire meeting.
The Atlanta World War II Round Table is very selective about speakers and presentations for our meetings. They must meet certain criteria requirements and have a clear focus on military history that is educational for our membership and public guests. Our meetings are not platforms for other organizations, veterans advocacy groups, or veterans business groups, etc., but we may be willing to inform our membership about your organization.
