Yes. We ask that you please RSVP so that we can inform the cafeteria of headcount so that enough food will be prepared for the luncheon.
You are free to take photos and videos from your seating position with your Smartphones or small camera. Any formal or informal interviews, including video interviews, must be approved by the President in advance of the meeting.
Upcoming meetings will be posted on our website's Event Calendar. An email notification and Robocall will go out to our members and to individuals who have signed up for our email list.
Our organization's focus is World War II. However, we occasionally have guest speakers who talk about other conflicts.
Our monthly luncheon meetings typically run two to three hours depending on the guest speaker. This consists of social time, followed by lunch, followed by guest speaker. It is perfectly acceptable to leave early if you cannot stay for the entire meeting.
The Atlanta World War II History Round Table is very selective about speakers and presentations for our meetings. The presentation material must have a clear focus World War II history that is educational and entertaining for our membership and public guests. Members of our organization and members external to our organization must request and receive approval from the President to give a talk or presentation. Please use our Contact Form to make your request.
We try to be respectful of our meeting attendees time and keep our meetings to a reasonable duration. Therefore, effective September 2023 we will not allow short talks or short presentations about external organizations or events. The President may be willing to personally inform our membership about your organization or event during one of our meetings provided that you contact us at least one week in advance of our meeting and provided that the President believes your information will be of general interest to the membership. Please use our Contact Form to make your request.
