Bio

Andy landed on Utah Beach as a tank driver and member of a mapping unit with the 6th Armored Division, a unit of Patton's 3rd Army on July 20, 1944. He was in combat operations until April 1945 when his unit was ordered to stop at the Muldar River in Germany where they met the Russian army. Andy fought in the Battle of the Breast Pennisula, Battle of the Buldge, and Battle of Bastone. His unit liberated Buchenwald Concentration Camp. Andy has a slide show that depicts his combat experiences across Europe.
